Wow it has been a while since i last was here....

Kids have surely kept me busy and

of course now the holidays are upon us.

I had started a thanksgiving kit but never got it finished......
I am going to try and get at least 2 kits down for you
that are christmas themed..
The first Kit will depart on Dec. 1st.....It will be part of
the Chirstmas Blog train at Creative Misfits Blog......

1. How long have you been using PSP, PS?

Well its now been about 2.5 yrs or so....

Wow where has the time gone?

And i am still really learning.

2. How did you get into making tags, scrapkits?

My friend showed me the program.

I then joined some groups on Myspace.

And i was instantly frustrated rofl.

So i took more time and learned and

was hooked from there on out making tags.

Then i met a wonderful women

named Farrah and she taught me most of

what i needed to know to create scrap kits.

3. Who`s your fave artist?

Wow…Well i have many lol....

But my faves are probably Ismael Rac,

Keith Garvey, and Elias Chatzoudis,

Suzanne Woolcott and Pinup Toons.

although I have quite a few from other artist also.

Each artist is unique in their own way.

I love art.

4.Who`s your favourite Scrap Designer?

I have lots of favorite designers

but my most favorite is

Kay Miller.....

I absolutely love her work.

I also really like the kits from

Tamie and Vicki of Pink Pleasures Scraps,

Osa Hunni, Farrah and so many others

it would take me all day to list them...

5. Which three blogs do you visit everyday?

Well I can’t say I visit any blogs every single day

as I don’t always have time to blog hop.

If you’re a friend and a blogger though,

chances are I visit your blog every chance I can.

WOW!

Its been forever since i posted on the blog......

Summer time got hectic with the kids home...

and i was enjoying the last month of having

my youngest and oldest at home with me.......

My oldest leaves the 23rd for college so i have been

busy getting her ready to go......

And my youngest starts kindergarten tomorrow...

Talk about heart wrenching.....

I am so not ready for either to happen.

And as many of you know with an Autistic child

this is turning his world upside down..

He is very close to both girls and doesn't

want the big sister leaving at all....

and the little sister is "HIS" baby and he wants

to be in her class so no kids can bully her...

So there has been some HUGE adjustments going on for us...

Plus i found out that my 9 yr old needs to see a pedietric surgeon

for some issues that has taken us totally by surprise.....

So keep Him in your prayers please..

A side from daily life i almost have my Holloween kit done.

Then i will be starting on a kit called 5 Little Monkeys.

This kit has been inspired when i seen a couple little

monkeys on Osa's blog here..

She has been such a doll to allow me to use them as CU's.

Thank you Osa......

Wow Life has been a crazy circle latley.

My oldest daughter graduated this year and

she has already been down at the college

getting all her paperwork settled for her classes

and her dorm. I must say i am really sad that she

is spreading her wings and going away for

college... I wish they would of offered her degree

at our local colleges but they don't.

The four little ones are out of school

till after Labor day.. Trying to fill their

days is always a chore...They are scheduled

for camp but it doesn't start till next week.

My oldest son who is 9 is having some

more issues with his heart. So i have been

going back and forth with doctors. I just wish they

would make up theirs minds so i know

the extent of this condition......Frustrating not

knowing much...

We are planning a trip to our big zoo here....

And also hubby and my trip is in August..

Nascar here we come....

Also my mom wants to make a trip down to TN

to see my neices that were adopted by a women

down there....So lots in the works......

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

My oldest daughter has made it through Highschool .

YEAH!!!

Her graduation ceremony is this week however,

i have been busy with planning her

graduation party and her end of High School Activities.....

It's been a bittersweet year for us.

As Kayla gets ready to end her teenage years

and head into adulthood

Julia is just entering her childhood years

starting Kindergarten in the Fall...

Wow when i think of it like that it makes me very sad.

Sad that the oldest is heading off to college

and sad that my baby will be in full day school next year

and i will home alone for the first time in years ...

It just doesn't seem possible......

I will miss both girls a ton.....

Congrats Kayla I am very proud of you......

NEWS AND A FTU KIT

I held a contest over at the Misfit Forum during April

to help raise awareness for Autism.

I had several awesome designers who took part.

Whatever they choose to create had to represent Autism.

It was very hard to choose 2 winners. So I had

my son who has Autism help pick the winners.

Thanks to all of you that took part in this challenge.

Julie from Bits and Bobs won with her scrap kit which can be downloaded here.

as i have two beautiful boys who have Aspergers.

My friend (Lori) who has been with me through many ups and downs has

Together we thought this was a great way to raise awareness.

COMPUTER CRASH!

Just a quick note to let you all know that my computer crashed.

I do not know when i will have it back, but

thankfully it's still under warrenty.

Sad thing is i lost everything just about......

Why becuz i was to lazy to back it up ughh....

So i am investing in a EHD.....

Wow where do i begin?

As most of you know Farrah has been a tremendous support

for lots of people throughout the Scrapping Community.

She has helped out anyone who has ever gone to her...

She has given freely of her own creations...

She has never turned anyone away that wanted a tube

and honestly couldn't afford one......

Farrah has been a tremendous support to me..

She has been the ONLY one who has lent a hand and taught me about digital scrap kit making. She has taught me layouts. She has given so freely her time and also some of her very own creations to help me make my kits....She has spent several hours online with me correcting my errors before i released my very first kit........and never once did she ever ask for anything in return.....

Farrah has been such a support for me, a best friend, a shoulder i know i can cry on when i need to, an ear to listen when i have needed to vent.

Well Now Farrah is in need of our support. She may be facing cervical cancer. She needs all of us to rally around her and uplift her. She will be facing many many medical bills for which she has no insurance to cover any of the cost.. She will also be faced with loss time from work as she will have to take time off to go to doctors appointments..

So i am asking each and everyone of you to help with this cause. If your not a designer go here and buy from her store....If your a designer and would love to help out Jillian is starting a collab kit......You may email Jillian at alwaysgorjuss@gmail.com for more details....

Well the first kit will not be a winter kit.

I have decided to go with a Christmas Theme.

However there has been a hold up. I want to learn the right way to do these kits not just throw one up....Farrah has been a great help. THANKS FARRAH!

Working on some things

I am working on a few things that i hope to put up here in the next week or so.. This month not only is it BCA month but it is also National Autism Month..

As some of you know Autism is close to my heart as i have two boys with Aspergers.. Even with all the challenges they face they are special little guys who have soared and really made some great strides.......I am very proud of them..

So be looking out in the next week for a small kit that will be made by me.........
